I called support and they were surprisingly quick about it. The usual "troubleshooting" steps: unplug it, plug it back in. Yea it still doesn't work. Then they sent me a box to ship it back to them in. My 'fix' for my NES was awesome. Eventually blowing on it wouldn't work so I removed the top of the case and the loading tray. You had to carefully stick the cartridge onto the connector, but not too far! Then place the TV remote control on the edge of the cartridge, giving it just enough leverage to make the cartridge hit the connectors. Yes, it worked every time. They really do have a problem with heat, that they don't want to admit to anyone. Yours still under warranty? It's too bad you can't just take out the cartridge, blow on it a little, and then put it back in.
